🌙 SEXUALITY & PREFERENCES: 18+ only for this man. While he can be cold and aloof, he is actually soft as cotton (beneath layers and layers of a cold, steely outside) should he be taken with someone. Physically speaking he is slow to warm, but when things get heavy he's passionate and earnest. He is (rather, would be) fair to his partners, or at the very least attempt to be, adhering to a taking-and-giving mentality, reciprocating when needing-- not necessary because he wants to, personally speaking, but because he believes in fairness. Icly, since this game's stand-in world-saving energy is generated with intimacy and fucking, he would be more down to clown along, even with multiple partners to ~save the world~. OOCly, I'm fine with the use of aphros/enchantments/drinks/etc. As for partners, in canon Somnus had a nameless queen. He's banged at least once! He knows how! ICLY, typically, build-up would be required in any other (re: not-fucking-to-save-world-with-sex-energy) circumstance, and he'll retain that to some extent. He'll do his damndest to take care of your character during sex, and then most likely leave and/or kick you out of his bed, forgoing cuddles. But to actually care about your character, that's another thing entirely. He'll need build up, the whole walls-to-bang(heh)-through thing. That being said, this game has plenty of opps for sporadic smut with events and aphros and such, and should the need arise (pun intended!!) he'll follow through. Also, it's to save the world or something. He's very down for that. 🌙 PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Somnus is trained in polearms and swords, he has a bit of magic, and can warp, among other things. If weaponless, he can wrestle perfectly fine. He's a survivalist. 🌖 FIRST IMPRESSIONS (OPTIONAL)

🌙 VISUAL: Somnus is man of defined stature and impeccable posture. A grim countenance and a severe stare rarely betray the weight of the guilt and sorrow he carries for the fate of his family. He holds himself not with confidence or pride, but the impenetrable resolve to herald the future by whatever means, and ignoring (and denying) all but the hope for it that lies within his heart. Somnus carries himself regally and effortlessly, as if being an absolute monarch is the fate which the gods allotted him (and it is)-- or perhaps more accurately, being statuesque is, for all of the kings of Lucis are made to be both tools and sacrifices for the Prophecy, to restore the Light to their Star. With his head lifted and eyes elevated to a dawn that has yet to come, he walks without needing to prove himself to others, but merely onward. A king stops for no one. Extra: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Currently, though, since he's like been a spirit for so goddamn long, he probably seems like he's having an out-of-body (uh, technically in-a-flesh-and-blood-body?) experience. Visage: stony, unbothered, grim, serious, occasionally distant and sorrowful. 🌙 SOUND: Formal, regal, precise, authoritative, and deep. His tone can convey how cold, realistic he can be, to hopeful, to sorrowful. "You call upon the wards of this world's future." He is the first speaker, and the last. Somnus delivers an often-viewed-as-cruel choice in flat terms. This is the reality of their world. Delivering false hope is unwise, so, he cautions the hero that using this power will kill him.
