chatwithdeath: Official Art (Consider the facts)

[It's actually not abnormal to find Naomi about the hospice ward. On the contrary, having death magic makes her somewhat invaluable to grieving families - for patients that cannot wake long enough to say their final goodbyes and may do so through the doctor once they pass. And she doesn't at all mind doing it. If a doctor was going to work to save lives, they must also acknowledge death would linger and wait. And for those beyond saving, a doctor could be a gentle hand helping them greet death.]

[Quietly, she stands in observation of a few, speaking to the nurses as they come and go about conditions and deciding if it was time to contact next of kin... but she slows because something's out of place. A spirit lingers and not of one that had been admitted to the ward.]

[... And then her eyes narrow and she lets the nurses continue on to speak to the other doctor. Look, she's still holds a small slight at the last time he came by.]

Death magic. I'm not going to ask what happened, but what do you want?
