I ask for all kinds of stuff. I just don't normally include the 'looking for a distraction' part as a reason.

[He's very blunt. Straight forward. It's something she both does and doesn't like about him. But she supposes that's why she's the softer one between the two of them, so he doesn't have to be.]

I just need to be able to breathe some air that isn't at my house or at the flower shop. With someone who probably isn't going to pry into me, assuming anything gets said at all.
